Client: Christie Jones

Project: Brand Photography (2018)

Christie Jones, an author and educator (school counselor), approached us for professional brand photography to elevate her personal brand and support her promotional efforts. As the author of the children’s book “Are We Home Yet?” Christie required a collection of high-quality images for her website, christiejauthor.com, as well as for speaking engagements and marketing materials.

The Challenge

Christie needed a series of photos that would:

  • Reflect her approachable and professional personality as an author and educator.
  • Establish her credibility as a speaker and thought leader.
  • Seamlessly align with the themes of her book and her mission to address homelessness amongst school-aged children

The Approach

  1. Creative Direction:
We collaborated with Christie to develop a vision for her photoshoot that aligned with her brand identity. The imagery needed to be professional yet relatable, capturing her warmth and confidence.
  2. Photography Session:
    • Portraiture: We captured polished headshots and mid-length portraits, ensuring versatility for her website, social media, and promotional use.
    • Lifestyle Photography: Natural, candid-style shots were taken to highlight Christie’s authenticity and approachability, connecting her to her readers and audience.

The Results

The final photography set provides Christie with a library of versatile, high-quality images that she can confidently use across her professional platforms. These photos:

  • Enhance her website, christiejauthor.com, with engaging visuals that resonate with her audience.
  • Support her promotional materials and marketing campaigns for “Are We Home Yet?”
  • Elevate her brand for speaking engagements, ensuring she presents herself as a polished yet approachable thought leader.
